This is the twentieth monthly digest. I send a general update at the end of each month for those new to Liberating Narratives.
This month features a lot of travel updates.
On Wednesday, 7 August, at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT, I will host the following free workshop: “The Monsoon World: Teaching the Indian Ocean in World History.” I will discuss how to teach the Indian Ocean exchange network that centers indigenous voices and perspectives. In July 2025, I’m offering an educator’s study tour to the Balkans. I’m still finalizing the details, but check out the preview.
